Update

Finals were fine today. Just Spanish and Psych. We didn't do much of a final in either class anyway, but tomorrow is math and TOK.

I have to study for math tonight, a lot. I'm going to quickly make my OAW video right now because Iw on't have time tomorrow, and then I'm going to get started on studying.

Full night ahead of me! Won't be online at all. Sorry. :(
But, Friday I will be for sure! :D

Finals Start Tomorrow...

I have Spanish and Psychology finals tomorrow. Not too big of a deal.
Not REAL final in Spanish, and an open book test in Psychology. Stress free, really.

On Thursday, I have Math and TOK. These are what I'm stressing about. -_-
Math I have a cumulative final on everything I've learned this year. From August until now. I'm needing to study big time. And on, top of the studying, I have my math project due at noon on Friday. Joy. All I have to do in TOK is write a rough draft for my TOK essay. But this involves creative thinking and preparation. I'm not ready for this. :(

Friday, I have History and English. I have to study for both. History is an exam on Single Party States in Europe. Mostly revolving around Hitler, Mussolini, and Franco. Fascist dictators FTL.
English, I have two essays. One on the play The Visit and one on the novel Things Fall Apart. I didn't finish reading TFA...so I'm scared. Plus, there are 40 multiple choice questions on each as well. So stressful.

I'm hoping that on Friday I can come home and take a nap, pack, and then stay up all night because I'm leaving for the airport to go to Washington DC at 3am. T_T

I'm insanely excited about my DC trip though. I get to see Barack Obama inaugurated. The first black president! :D More on this later this week.

No play rehearsal for the rest of the week.

The Neech is 24 years young!

Happy Birthday Denise!

You are one of the most kind and friendly person I've met on YouTube. I can't believe how easily our friendship has grown. Our first meeting might have been slightly awkward to you, but I know that next time (because there is of course going to be a next time) it will be like seeing old friends.

Denise, I know I've said this before, but I feel like I could tell you anything because I trust you. I love the one-on-one chats we have, and the calls we have with Jiss. I'm happy that you can trust me too. I think of you as that cool big sister that I always wish I had, but never did. I had to deal with an older brother my whole life, this is a nice change. It sucks that we all live so far apart. But my one goal (besides college, right now) is to go to New Zealand with you.

You're a great friend Denise, and I'm so lucky that I got to know you. So happy birthday! I hope your day was fabulous. FEF fo' lyfe! Denise the duck says hello!

So my birthday was great. Had fun at school. Then Kelly and Becky went to dinner with me and my parents. Then they stayed over and we talked to Jess, David, Rob, and Simon. Not all at once though.

I got 2 packages of stroopwafles. Here's a pic of me eating one.
And I got iPod headphones with a mic built in so that I can talk on skype on my iPod. :D
Oh and a straightener for my hair.

I have the hiccups right now.

Hiccups aren't pleasant. Argh.

I got a chocolate letter 'L' from my Godmother for Christmas. I always get that from her. It's Dutch tradition. I'm always so excited about it. except this time, when I opened it, half the chocolate had gone bad. *sadface*
Dutch chocolate is my favorite chocolate in the world... but it went bad and now I'm all upset that I have no Droste chocolate.

I'll include a picture. I actually attempted to eat the bad chocolate too. It wasn't good, obviously.

FUNNY STORY TIME!

I was at rehearsal for the play that I'm in, Cyrano de Bergerac, and we were doing a read through. If you're unfamiliar with the play there is a scene where Cyrano (the main character) is in a theater and a girl, known as the Orange Girl, is selling foods. She hears that Cyrano doesn't have any money left for the month so she offers him some food. Anyway, in the script's stage directions Cyrano must kiss her hand and thank her before she leaves the theater.

Here's the funny part. In rehearsal it gets to that part and the guy who is playing Cyrano, Jon, says his line before he is suppose to kiss the Orange Girls hand and then he goes on to moan something that is not in the script at all, "MMMMMMM. Tastes Citrus-y."

You can imagine how we all laughed after that. OMG so funny. The end.
